VALVE END CONNECTS
Valve end connects, also known as Control Valves do not allow the pairing to be connected or disconnected unless the lever or handle is in the "off" position and many piping specifications dictate the use of valve end connections.
Multi-port valves for mixing and diverting applications have "L" port or "T" port balls and can be bottom or side entry valves. They can be used in many situations such as:
- Butt welding Ends.
- Cast Iron Pipe Flanges.
- Pipe Flanges.
- Threaded and Welded End valves.
- Flanged or threaded end connections.
There are many types of Flanged valves which are possibly one of the most widely used types of valves. The type and material of the flanges depends on the environment. This type of valves needs careful attention when installing particularly when the valve body is less than one line-size smaller than the valve.
Butt-Weld Ends are commonly used as valve end connects for piping while Ball valve end connections are used because they reduce substance cost and excess material as only one set of end connections is usually needed for each ball valve installation.
